Hey - I hope I'm not going against any anti-breeding rules that've been set up on the site by psting this, and I'm really sorry if I am (just let me know if this sort of post isn't appreciated)...but my argente female campbells (mated with a blue male, and a banded argente?? male - I've never been very good at identifying odd colours!!) has given birth to 6 babies (over 2 litters) in blue, dove, argente and normal colours and I'm looking for good homes for them. I was hoping to house them in groups of two-three (same-sex), as they've grown up together, and so tend to do very well as a group long-term in this set-up.
If anyone is interested then please let me know and I can send some photos, and organise a time for you to meet them. I prefer people not to buy these animals for young children as they're quick and need regular cleaning out (more frequently than syrians - about 2-3 times a week). They enjoy and thrive on daily attention and space to run around, so a group o 2-3 would need a cage of at least 55 x 39 x 27 cm (I recommend the ferplast mini duna cage).
